Happy Birthday Dad!!

Today is my Dad's birthday.  I know everyone says that they have the best Dad ever... but they are wrong (unless they are my brother...).   Our Dad is awesome.  He's smart and kind, funny and loyal.  He has always been supportive and available whenever I needed him.  He has always set forth a positive example for us.  He was my very first hero.  He is my dear friend.  I am blessed to have him in my life.

In addition to being a great Dad to me and my baby brother, he's also a wonderful Grandpa to my boys.  They get along great, and have a lot of fun with him.  A lot of that has to do with the fact that my Dad still remembers being a little boy himself, and doesn't hesitate to act like one whenever he's around his Grandsons. 

p.s. Pretty much everything I just said about my Dad also applies to my Mom who is equally awesome - it's just not her birthday today!  :)
